To use the Voltaware App, you must have a Voltaware Sensor correctly installed and download the Voltaware Appfrom the Android/ IOS stores. You then need to open the app, provision the sensor on your Wi-Fi by following the steps from the sign up screen and using the product key printed in the box. After this, you will need a valid email address and password to log in. You will need to set up your personal electricity tariff in your account so we can convert your consumption to cost and display this on the app.
The minimum systems requirements are iOS 10 on your iOS device or Android 4.4 onwards.

To receive the monthly report, sign up in the app using a valid email address.
On the 5th of every month, we send an email report to our registered users. This report is a breakdown of what happened during the entire month in your house. We provide a summary of your monthly energy usage. We split your consumption into appliance levels, calculating your carbon footprint and giving you personalised recommendations in order to help you save as much as possible.
Remember that your monthly report will be more accurate if you fill in your Property Profile on the app.
We provide transparency about your electricity usage on a live, daily and monthly basis, using a combination of energy and home insights. Voltaware will help you better understand your energy usage and help you take action. You will be able to calculate whether you are using too many appliances at the same time, if you have left something on or if you should lower your always-on appliances usage. You'll be advised on how to lower specific appliance consumption, and will be able to set up alerts to be notified when a certain threshold is reached. You will be able to know when you are at peak time so that you can estimate when it is best to do the laundry or wash your dishes.
You can refer to the live screen in order to see if your house is active or not and set up inactivity alerts.
You will receive this information on a monthly basis in your email report.
The cost and consumption graph enables you to visualise your cost and consumption progress over time .
You can set up a Lifestyle alert in order to monitor unusually low activity levels during certain times of the day. You can also set an Inactivity Alert in order to make sure that all the basic appliances are working fine in their houses or if something has broken down. By checking the live screen you'll be able to see whether there is a normal amount of activity in the house, or if too many appliances are on at the same time for an extended period of time.

Our goal is to keep improving and the more data we get, the more we'll be able to do this.
We calculate the cost of your bill based on the tariff you've set on your account. If this is inaccurate or slightly different than your real tariff the results might differ.

Once you have signed up to the app, you can login to the app on multiple devices using the same login credentials.
If the power stops, the app will show that the sensor has been disconnected. You can also set up an inactivity alert in order to monitor sudden decreases in power draw.
We aim to update the app every 2 weeks in order to fix any reported bugs, add new features and improve the user experience. Sometimes, we can update it with more frequency,and when a big feature is being developed it can take us longer to do so.
The Voltaware mobile app is only available on smartphones or tablets and not on the web.
No, the app is not optimised for solar reports. However, businesses can integrate the data in their solar application using our platform.
