We thank customers who responded to our recent survey regarding Voltaware app usage. Your valuable feedback helps us better understand customers’ needs and identify areas of the mobile app that may need additional tailoring. Improving product performance to meet consumer expectations is a priority.

Responses came from 16 countries such as South Africa, Lebanon and Russia, while Italy and the UK were the top two countries represented. We are pleased to see a great range of nations making use of our mobile app. We made it for you!

User Frequency

93% of users consult their Voltaware App at least three times a month, 63% monitor their energy expenditure with more consistency, twice a week at a minimum, and a true-blue group of 25%, at least once per day. As developers in the energy-tech sector, it is gratifying to see an energy app made for consumers being used consistently in daily lives for positive change.

Appliance Monitoring Plus

The podium of real-time appliance monitoring goes to the electric boiler, fridge/freezer, and washing machine respectively. It’s easy to understand how these top finishers earned their rank as they are typically the most commonly used in any household. Electric boilers warm our homes in the winter and on cold-damp days. Fridges & freezers keep our food fresh longer, and washing machines facilitate how we clean our clothes. Survey timing may also play a role; January responses would differ than those from June for example. Home heating in the winter turns to air-conditioning in the summer.

Concrete and practical information on their electricity usage encourages consumers to reduce their energy costs and alter energy-wasting behaviour. It could also possibly compel them into investing in energy efficiency by upgrading heavy energy-consuming appliances for ones with improved energy ratings. This simple act will start saving you money faster than you think, and you’ll be doing your part to reduce waste across the world.

Real-time energy monitoring is the most popular feature of the Voltaware app as it allows users to track their home activity, even remotely, at any time. As a result, 95% believe they have improved their electricity consumption or tracked their home activity better. In addition, monthly reports and intelligent alerts will help identify energy wasting behaviour, which will save you money on your monthly bill.

Customer Feedback

70% of customers are very satisfied with the algorithm accuracy and the app’s overall ease of use. Energy disaggregation is also greatly appreciated and a major component of customer retention. Who doesn’t want to feel more in control of their bills? We received suggestions for future app features such as improved appliance recognition, adding a carbon footprint tracker and weather-based recommendations. The customer experience remains key in a mobile app. We strive to enhance our services and pledge to increase customer engagement through specific surveys tailored toward product development.
